Tweetmeme Retweet Button Plugin

Integrating the retweet button is even easier on wordpress with the help of a plugin. TweetMeme button plugin allows you to easily integrate good TweetMeme button into your posts. The plugin will put the button or in top into both your content and your feed.

Installation

1. Upload the TweetMeme directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.


2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.


3. Go to Settings/TweetMeme to configure the button.

Other Options

There are a number of other options which the Wordpress plugin provides:

Optionally display the button – It is possible to switch the button off on certain posts by creating a new custom field called ‘tweetmeme’ and setting it false. To add the button back on, remove the custom field.

Displaying the button in the loop – You can set the position to ‘manual’ and use the php function tweetmeme(); in the Wordpress Loop.
